One of the real strengths of Kids in Action is the relationships we have with our members and service users. Its that week by week involvement and relationship which allows us to give personal and tailored support and help.
Many children and adults with learning and other disabilities are isolated and lonely. 1 in 4 people with learning disabilities say they have no friends at all. They are multiply disadvantaged and struggle with poverty, discrimination and even bullying.
We think that’s intolerable and need to change.
All of that is with the aim of supporting individuals and families so they can gain the confidence, skills and opportunity to take the next step in transforming their own lives.

We are currently trying to raise funds for us to have a 4th caravan as well as funding the running costs of our existing ones.
This year is our 21st birthday and our aim is to raise £600,000 to secure the purchase of our building.
